It's terrible. I forgot the passwd of merlin. How can I do it?

After I cleared the cache of my chrome, I lost my passwd.
1.so How to find back my passwd.
2.How to reflash a new merlin on my rt-n16 without passwd.

You don't. Do a hard reset on your router and rebuild your settings.

If bypassing your password were that easy, then there would be no point in a password.

You will have to do a factory default reset to regain access, and reconfigure your router (if you didn't keep a backup of your settings).

I was gonna say just SSH using winscp (don't know if that would work, but I've seen a password file that I assumed was where the password was kept) but then I realized that in order to SSH into the router you needed the password.
