Dear all.
After running 378.55 on my AC68U - my router began to have drop out of the 5GHz wireless.
Also - The Astrill VPN applet disapeared ( The Astril Icon ) still clickable, but no icon. Even though I reinstalled.
What I noticed also was a major drop on my download speed. I went from 50Mbps to aprox 15. My movies started to lag or pause .. never did that before.
What I did now was.. Trying to do a roll back to 378.52 and now I got full speed on my VPN and it all seems to be running much better again?
I could reroll for 378.55.0 to test again - but now all seems to be running so good again.
Anyone else encountered this issue?
I bought Astrill with RouterPro to get faster speeds - works perfectly... just not with the latest firmware
If you need any info ect.. just shout . I even made a ticket for Astrill since I find it odd that I had such a major speed drop. We tried to use several ports.. TCP vs UDP ect. Nothing worked.
Now I just got the idea - why not try to do a reroll for an "older" version - and it sorted it
Cheers
