New Ac Router recommendation?

My dlink ac router hardware side failed. I'm looking for a stable router with no WiFi dropouts or disconnects and the best range. I live in town house apartments so it's very crowded. My WiFi only gave me 2bars. I was thinking r7000 or tplink c9 or the new Asus at best buy. What router has the best range and solid WiFi with no dropouts. Thanks you guys.(also compatible with some Apple devices and Xbox ones)

I use two R7000's. The current fw version that is out is solid, if you want just a basic wireless router config. I have no issues with connecting iDevices, Samsung phones, and xbox. I have used the R7000 as a router and as an AP, both configurations work well. Also has great wireless range..
