I set up a second RT-N66U at my wife's office.
I used her office(with static IP) to enable the PPTP server, as the other end of tunnel uses dhcp.
I was able to configure and connect the tunnel into the office with no issues. I can ping the internal LAN interface from the client end, but, not the other way around. I need to be able to access an internal object on the client side, from the office. I believe I've tried every network route configuration I could think of to be able communicate back to the internal client end with no success.
To be sure, I don't have to create a second tunnel in the other direction to accomplish this seemingly simple task. I normally work with sonicwall products and haven't seen this type of issues with them. Of course the price differential made the Asus products more appealing.
Has anyone been able to accomplish the same configuration?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
