Hi,
I just got the RT-AC88U and I was extremely disappointed to see that the Traditional QoS seems totally broken.
Does anyone know if there is an older firmware working correctly with it as the other QoS options (adaptive or Bandwith limiter) are not really what I'm looking for.

Also Adaptive seems somewhat broken too. It didn't seem to be able to proritize my VoIP packets. (SIP / RTP)
RTP paquets seems identified as general

Currently on latest Official Asus firmware.
Internet : Bell FTTH 50/50 (PPPoe)

Note: Seems like I should have posted this in the ASUSWRT official... sorry.

What is broken about it?

The download limit are not respected.
If I set for testing to lets say 20mbps, it will still download at 50mbps (my default).
I had a RT-AC66U with the almost same exact configuration page for the QoS and it was working perfectly.

I don't have the RT-AC88U, but when I tried it here, it seems to work (RMerlin 380.62_1 firmware on an RT-AC68U).

Did you reboot the router after making changes? Did you reboot the test computer?
