RV082 slow WAN speed

I have been using my ver 1 RV082 for a few years now. I have been getting pretty satisfactory speed out of it until now. I am with Shaw cable in Vancouver, Canada. I had been on their "extreme" package (15 megabyte) for a few years now consistently getting 10-12. I recently I upgrade to their Broadband 50 expecting a 33 mb/s connection but I still only get 10-12 mb/s. Is there a setting that I need to change? Is there a way to optimize it?

Do you have the latest firmware?
Try setting the MTU on the WAN port you're using manually to 1500.
Have you setup the QoS on it?
