[Feature Request] Show all clients in Wireless Log

Is it possible for the Wireless Log in the web UI to show all connected clients, even those connected to any AI Mesh nodes? Currently only clients connected to the main router show up here. Reason being: it's very useful for debugging to be able to quickly see what the signal strength is for...

386.4 does not respect connectivity checker settings on RT-AX88U

So you're saying it cannot use pings anymore? Where is this host configured? I removed it from both the command line and in the UI and it is still finding that domain somewhere.. What a silly design, I'm assuming from ASUS

386.4 does not respect connectivity checker settings on RT-AX88U

I've seen many posts about this in the past, for example here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/network-flooded-by-dns-msftncsi-com-requests.61155/ However I've followed all the instructions and _still_ see many requests to dns.msftncsi.com, it makes no sense. I have disabled DNS lookup in...

386.4 incorrectly shows that internet is not connected on RT-AX88U

The issue seems to have rectified itself.

386.4 incorrectly shows that internet is not connected on RT-AX88U

If I get the flags after a reboot it shows they were set correctly: user@RT-AX88U-2FF0:/# nvram get dns_probe_content 131.107.255.255 112.4.20.71 fd3e:4f5a:5b81::1 user@RT-AX88U-2FF0:/# nvram get dns_probe_host dns.msftncsi.com

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

I faced this issue and ran these commands over SSH and it does not appear to have worked. Thread here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/386-4-incorrectly-shows-that-internet-is-not-connected-on-rt-ax88u.76658/

386.4 incorrectly shows that internet is not connected on RT-AX88U

I ran these commands but it did not fix the issue: user@RT-AX88U-2FF0:/tmp/home/root# nvram set dns_probe_content="131.107.255.255 112.4.20.71 fd3e:4f5a:5b81::1" user@RT-AX88U-2FF0:/tmp/home/root# nvram set dns_probe_host="dns.msftncsi.com" user@RT-AX88U-2FF0:/tmp/home/root# nvram commit

386.4 incorrectly shows that internet is not connected on RT-AX88U

Just updated my RT-AX88U to 386.4 The web UI now shows Internet status: Disconnected and the Internet light on the router itself is red. However, I'm connected fine and internet is working. Has anyone else seen this issue?

    RT-AX88U Intel AX200 WiFi-6 device only uses 20MHz or 160MHz

After a while the issue has dissapeared and I am seeing connections on the 80MHz channel and connected over 5GHz reliably.

    RT-AX88U Intel AX200 WiFi-6 device only uses 20MHz or 160MHz

Thanks for the response. It's not just that it won't stay stable on 160MHz, it won't stay persistently connected to the 5GHz band. Again the surprising part is that it used to be able to before this update, I had a strong connection that remained stable and didn't drop. Now my computer is...

    RT-AX88U Intel AX200 WiFi-6 device only uses 20MHz or 160MHz

Introduced in version 386.1. Did not fix with the 386.1_2 patch. Since updating to 286.1, my computer that has an Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 network card has trouble maintaining a 5 GHz connection with the router. Previously it could. I've noticed now that either it is stuck on the 2.4 GHz channel...

Monitor bandwidth history without logging browsing history?

@Jeffrey Young I have the Asus Merlin firmware. I would like all of the features of the traffic statistics page _except_ the ones that harm my users' privacy. Logging client browsing data is totally unnecessary.

Monitor bandwidth history without logging browsing history?

I have a RT-AX88U. In the dashboard there are a few separate features related to logging bandwidth: 1. Adaptive QoS shows live bandwidth data per-client. 2. The homepage shows total live bandwidth data. 3. The traffic analyzer shows live bandwidth data, as well historical data within a small...
