Release ASUS RT-AX92U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22525

Switch to Gnuton 386.08. been on my AX92u for 6 months and is rock solid. No compelling reason or need to go to 388 branch yet. 2 VPN servers running simultaneously ( 1 TAP, 1 TUN) https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/releases/tag/386.08_0-gnuton1

Release ASUS RT-AX92U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22525

Seriously annoying. My ac68u and 66u_b1 are still supported

Disable VLAN (to enable same subnet for WIFi and Eth)

My ax92u's are working with wired and wireless clients, all on the same subnet. Are you using a guest network for WiFi?

    Issues with RT-AX92U running 388.2_2_0-gnuton1

This is why I'm holding off from upgrading from the extremely stable Gnuton 386.8. Uptime of weeks with no issues. Too many bugs that are likely from the parent GPL code from Asus. I was waiting for some longer term feedback on 388.2, but it's posts like these that confirm that I should wait...

Release ASUS RT-AX92U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22525

I'm on gnuton 386.08_0 now and it is very stable. I have yet to try 388 as I see people have seen issues with Gnutons version which suggests that the issue is with the core Asus code as you're also seeing this with stock. I need stability and this version is working well.

    Diversion Diversion 4.3.3 - the Router Ad-Blocker, released April 02 2023

Do you have that type 65 regex that you would be willing to share for other pihole users?

RT-AX92U still on 3.0.0.4.386.46061 since januari '22. Did Asus really stopped supporting this model ?

Hmm. My ax92u node kept causing errors and at one point my router had red wan light caused I believe by this. I suspect that both need to be on the 388 firmware. I downgraded the node to GNUtons firmware and no errors since

@RMerlin: Firstly, thank-you for this, not just for supplying a compiled firmware file, but for confirming that Asus are at least still supporting this model. I have a node which I will load it on and see how it fares. Dare I ask if this is a precursor to you supporting this model in the near...

As an Ax92u owner (2 of them) I am waiting for .388 firmware too. Whilst you have the firmware and want to share, that's a great motive, but people are wary for good reason. I have a VPN setup on my own router, and it was constantly bombarded with login attempts on the VPN port (until I...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

WiFi Radar not showing 5Ghz neighbours, only the Ac86u 5Ghz is listed. Errors in code.

    Aimesh Test with RT-AX88U and RT-AX56U ( 386.1_beta3 )

That's my setup too! AC86u main with 68u remote in AP mode running 384.19! I tried using AiMesh, but DLNA with my LG TV wired to the remote node and connecting to my server in the same subnet just won't play ball and disconnects and reconnects every 10 seconds or so (I started a thread on...

    AiMesh and DLNA

AP mode (or AiMesh node) it should be off as IGMP snooping is a routing function. It is (and always has been) on on my main router. I can't see that being the issue, unless AiMesh mode is somehow set for routing and both are trying to snoop IGMP.

    AiMesh and DLNA

OK, I've been a very long lurker to SNB, and I have to say that i have learnt an amazing amount about networking here and taken a lot of the great advice from people here. so a big thank-you upfront. I've had network equipment since around 2004, starting off with Netgear and then moving...
