    Never Mind but thanks for looking. After a little internet search I was reminded of Asus Device Discovery. I ran the utility and behold the AC86U was seen with mac and i.p. address.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

    Same thing happens to me after 5 to 7 days. Most all my devices are on the 5Ghz band. I'm on 378.55 with my RT-AC87U.

    So I read this post and got excited about dd-wrt. I did some research on how to flash to my AC87U and spent two hours on trying to flash it. It was just too much of a hassle for me so I just went back to Merlin 378.55 firmware. I may try again.

    I Did After 3 days with the AC87R I had enough and went back to my AC68U. I don't want to be a beta tester. I'll wait until the AC87U bugs are ironed out.
