    Asus remote logging

Thanks. You provided just enough information for me to figure out what I needed to setup the syslog server to configure the router.

    Asus remote logging

I noticed that under system logs there's a field for an IP address. Is there any way to set the IP address to say, a computer on LAN or a connected USB device? I really don't like how the log viewer clears on reboot and its very limited in terms of usability so I want to parse the files...

Is it normal to have one or two a day rather than the entire log being filled?

AC5300, latest firmware 3.0.0.4.384_45717 - Master AC5300, AI mesh node Recently and seemingly at random times, the entire system log fills with errors that look like this: Jul 10 23:49:00 kernel: External imprecise Data abort at addr=0x7e3ffea0, fsr=0x1406, pc=0x80051be8 lr=0x80051be4...

Question about AiMesh Router in AP mode

Couldn't find a direct answer here and the ASUS support page only generically answered how to switch the operation mode. I have 2 AC3500, this setup would add a 3rd AC3500. Q: Is it possible to setup three routers in this fashion Ai Mesh Router/Wireless Router Mode (default) -----> Access...

    RT-AC5300/RT-AC3100 firmware 3.0.0.4.384.45717 (2019/05/13)

Was really hoping they'd give back the option to not dedicate the second 5ghz band as backhaul even with a ethernet backhaul with this update. Makes me wonder if there are major issues if they dont do this for aimesh

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

Hi all, I have 2x AC5300 and am using FW v3.0.0.4.384_45713. I noticed that it forces the 5.0ghz 2 band as backhaul for AiMesh but I have connected a backhaul through ethernet through powerline (due to the distance between the two routers). Should I revert to the FW discussed in this thread...

AiMesh - 5ghz-2 is now dedicated backhaul after recent firmware? (wired backhaul)

I am hoping they get that new firmware out for those who have ethernet backhaul on all their meshed nodes! Seems like a mistake to try and streamline the settings for users
