Speedtests are just depressing if you live in regional/ rural Australia. My download speeds are lucky to reach 2Mbps on adsl2+. Packets are faster via the mail than the Internet!

It's consistent across reboots. Once you disconnect from lan and go to wifi the restrictions are avoided.

The unit is the asus rt-n66u with latest merl in build. Parental controls restrict internet access via schedule corrected when accessing via LAN but does not work when accessing via wireless. Suggestions to debug? Thanks

If you have their client running that does the wan ip sync then the only other thing is turning on stats in your account I think.

Pulp, you would be better served with parental controls and an openDNS account if you want to control gaming. This will give you flexibility for the kids to use the Internet for school work while still blocking the games.

I agree with Zirescu. Enable OpenDNS at your desired level applying to all devices and just exclude specific devices.
