    hmm I have the same router at home and a nexus 4 and dont have this issue. Are you using ipv6 on the router? Tried turning it off on the phone under APN? Try a different firmware like dd-wrt or tomato? Try turning on the 5ghz and using the phone on that band...

    KGB7 can you tell me if the wifi drivers used in .41 firmware is the same as the OLD wifi drivers Kong uses in his firmware?

    Asus RT-AC68R > Merlin > Build 374.43_2 > Wireless randomly stops working

    happens to me with the same router running tomato. Think it has to do with the latest broadcom wifi drivers used in both builds. The only way to fix this is to flash dd-wrt Kong mod and use his builds that use the old wifi drivers.

    Someone please help...I tried overclocking and after reboot my ac68u running merlins latest build won't boot...pursuing the reset button does not help and even the firmware restoration utility went recognize the router in recovery mode...Idk what to do...any advice guys? The led keeps flagging...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.374.306

    I went ahead and bought the netgear r7000. So far it is running great...gonna test it out for a week and will probably return the asus ac68u if they dont release a firmware update that fixes the abysmal 2.4 ghz signal.

    Merlin what about those of us that have ran the ddr upgrade utility tool...Is it safe to go back to your builds if were already running 306? I prefer the vpn config you have in your builds. Also the turbo mode sounds interesting.

    hmm this is frustrating...i already ordered a replacement from amazon but thats not gonna ship till dec..lets hope its a firmware issue and can be fixed soon.

    Looks like im going to be returning this one. The range is very sub par compared to the n66u I had. 5ghz seems about the same if not slightly better but the 2.4 ghz is much weaker.

    Im having similar issues on the 2.4ghz band, while 5ghz is working fine with merlins latest firmware. Im going to reset the router and re configure...if not, looks like i need to rma?
