Haven't gone through the entire thread to see if this happened to anyone else, but didn't see any in the few pages I've gone through. Did the usual dirty upgrade from the previous non beta on my 5300 and at the end of the process it said to manually reboot. I have never seen that message before...

Not sure how long mine was up, but I couldn't log into mine either last night and had to reboot it.

Sigh. The warranty limit only covers the original purchase, not the date of the replacement I got. Its 50 bucks just for the diagnostic, let alone the cost to fix it. I guess I am screwed :(

BTW. I have done the reset via software (Administration > Restore/Save/Upload > Factory default), and also via the hardware reset button on the router itself. Neither have restored the use of the 5GHz-1 channel. Can someone please help me diagnose what the problem might be? Thanks.

This absolutely seems to be the case. The message clearly says my router is in "AiMesh mode" and that this is the behavior in AiMesh mode. It would be nice if Asus had a way to turn this mode off without needing to reset the router. But it looks like that's what Ill need to do. Thanks for the...

This is what I see for the second 5ghz channel. But what's really messed up is that only the 2nd one is working. 5ghz-1 is not working. 1 and 2 both have exactly the same settings, minus different names.
