My connection is 900 download 90 up. My provider over cooks this a little. I was watching a 4K stream on Netflix when I took the screenshot. Normally the download would be 940ish with no significant activitiy.

Just had two 'ghost' nodes on my AiMesh network.
The main GT-AX11000 router and two RT-AX92U nodes and two further two nodes beneath them, both disconnected, both with the name of Home. The RTs have custom names so didn't appear to be duplicates.

Would not expect a load balancing mechanism to deliver anything faster than the fastest connection.
It's possible that either the 48 connection is actually faster or there is an error in measurement.
The sluggish GUI is a typical symptom experienced when a full reset after upgrading hasn't been carried out.
Not currently using port forwarding so can't comment on that.
