Since the last couple of versions (now on 384.5) my 5G wireless clients don't show as 5G clients in the "view list" window
In fact the "view list" seems a bit hot and miss on who is 2G, Wired, DHCP and Static.
I did a factory reset hoping it would clean things up but it didn't
Any thoughts?
384.4 on my 87U is listing 5G devices as WIRED in the device listing. Could this be to do with clearing the cache or resetting to factory? I was hoping to do neither.
hi
I take what your saying as true but that is not what I am seeing. I have a guest network and access Intranet = true and on both 2.4 and 5 I have Set AP Isolated as No on the professional tab.
But today I added a mini PC dongle to 5.0 and my tablet was on 2.4 and Intel Remote keyboard on...
Hi
I have several wifi devices that only work together if they connect to the same wifi bandwidth. I assume traffic is not routed between them?
Is there a setting on the 87u to enable this? I looked but couldn't see anything obvious
TIA
Strange then.
I have put the merlin bios on this router from the day I bought it, and never had an issue.
Sat here last night, tablets, phone, all on 5g died. 2.5g had no internet access either. Same for wired. Router showed no internet access.
Rebooted router. Came up exactly the same. No...
Upgraded to 308.65_4 a couple of days ago and seemed fine.
Just now 5G disappeared, reboot did nothing. Also Internet access seemed unstable.
Reverted to 308.65_2 and all working again, for now.
I found that option under 2.4G (only) but it was already Disabled.
If anyone considers buying one of these drives to connect to the USB3 port check you can return it if it doesn't work.
On other threads I read that someone had got a USB3 hub plugged into the USB3 port and it worked fine. But...
Basically this just doesn't work as far as I can see. Drive works OK on USB2 but is just not even recognised on USB3. It works fine on USB3 on a PC.
I am assuming that it is because this drive has a built in hub and the router software does not support hubs on USB3.
Is that correct? Is there...
