    I have 2 Asus AX92Us in a mesh with all out-the-box setup. The iPad Pro M2 keeps disconnecting the internet every 10-12 min - then takes a min or so to resume connection. The Wifi icon stays - the internet or intranet does not work. I have checked - the other devices on the same router stay...

    Wireless extender showing up as "wired"

    Hi - I have this TP-link wireless extender that I connected to the Asus AX92U to extend the 2.4GHz in a dead spot for a few devices (smart plugs etc.). But, the extender always shows up as "wired" on the Network Map. Any idea why?

    AC5300 upgrade to 386.2_2 2.4Ghz radio not working

    I am having the same problems with GT-AC5300 (f/w 3.0.0.4.386_42643-g16dc577) - the devices in 2.4GHz can't access internet after a few days - have to reboot the router. Have not changed ANYTHING recently - the problem started just like that. Have done a reset and running pretty much default...

    Sorry for not updating. Actually multiple drives over USB never worked in Asus routers for me - so finally bought a NAS :) Problem "solved"...

    Strange issue with RT-AC5300 on 2.4GHz

    I can report that with the 386 (beta) on both the GT-AC5300 main + AC1900 mesh node with wireless backhaul - things have been VERY stable - it has not gone down at all. I also had the mesh as .10 static IP - now removed that. I moved about 16 of my IoT/always on devices to a 2.4GHz guest network...

    Does anyone have a working AiMesh with 45+ devices

    I have 25 devices in 2.4GHz (20 of these are IoT smart plugs etc.), 10 in 5GHz and 10 on wired network. Probably < 10 devices roam - rest all are fixed in their places. I have had no luck with AiMesh so far. Here is all I have tried: - AC68U X 2 - wired backhaul - AC68U X 2 - wireless backhaul...

    Hmm... I don't have an option that says "sync to nodes" on the stock AC5300 ( 3.0.0.4.384)...

    Question on Guest Network on AiMesh

    I noticed that AiMesh is NOT working on the guest network SSID I have setup in the mesh. It works on the main SSID - but I have a separate guest one and that's not on mesh. Is that observation correct? And, is there any way to mesh the guest network also? Main router AC5300, mesh node AC68U. Thanks,

    Strange issue with RT-AC5300 on 2.4GHz

    I have the same (or similar) issues with GT-AC5300 as the main router and AC1900 as the mesh node. Tried wired, wireless everything - but the whole mesh kind of "hangs" - wired connections seem to work - but the 2.4GHz is worst hit it seems. Devices can't get to the internet. Any solution so far?

    Dual-band router with Tri-band node versus vice versa for AiMesh

    If I use a AC68U as the AIMesh node with a tri-band AC5300 as the main router (I connect them via ethernet) - it converts the AC5300 to dual mode. I don't see any use of the second 5HGz-2 band on the AC5300. Is it OK to switch off the 5GHz-2 radio of just leave it as a hidden SSID?

    Hi - I am trying to attach a USB 3 hub and 3 drives on AC68U. It just mounts 1 of the 3 drives and the other 2 stays unmounted. I have checked the drive etc. Also - they same hub when connected to a AC5300 - all 3 work well. Is there any way to mount multiple USB drives on a AC68U? Thanks,

    Rt-ax92u and HDD

    Agreed - I suggest a RasPi with OpenMediaVault (https://www.openmediavault.org/) as a NAS - works great.
