    AC86U and GT-AC2900 syslog rc_service: dhcp6c xxxxx:notify_rc restart_ddns

I will try to do that then. Other than that you don't see any issues in the log?

    AC86U and GT-AC2900 syslog rc_service: dhcp6c xxxxx:notify_rc restart_ddns

Hmm ok. Well if it is not an issue i would bother doing it. I also have no knowledge about DDNS. As long as this bug then dont ruin anything. But maybe it causes unneccesary power/heat. Any other with a GT-AC2900 or AC86U with similar experience? I could make a bug report to Asus? Would that...

    AC86U and GT-AC2900 syslog rc_service: dhcp6c xxxxx:notify_rc restart_ddns

No - I am not using DDNS. The DDNS client is also disabled in the WAN settings. It does seem that the messages do not come if IPv6 is disabled

    AC86U and GT-AC2900 syslog rc_service: dhcp6c xxxxx:notify_rc restart_ddns

I have uploaded to pastebin from boot to the first couples of related restart_ddns messages. I have removed ip adresses and mac adresses (not sure if I should have done that). My native language is not english btw. So I apologize for any language errors in advance :-)...

    AC86U and GT-AC2900 syslog rc_service: dhcp6c xxxxx:notify_rc restart_ddns

Hi all. In the sys log og my two routers I get the following line approx. every second minute totally flooding the syslog: rc_service: dhcp6c xxxxx :notify_rc restart_ddns I am pretty sure I did not see it some FW version back. It is normal /expected or it there something wrong with my ISP's...

    Repeater Mode and MU-MIMO

Yes I know :-) But Explicit beamforming can work independently from MU-MIMO. So why is there no enable/disable for MU-MIMO. But only one for Explicit beamforning that turns of MU-MIMO as well.

    Repeater Mode and MU-MIMO

Hi Guys I have two questions regarding Asus GT-AC2900 I have an Asus GT-AC2900 set up in Repeater Mode to an old AC66U (non-B1). It is set up to connect to the AC66U via 2.4GHz and then repeat on 2.4GHz and 5Ghz. But somehow I can only get a working internet connection using the 5GHz SSID...

    AC86U / GT-AC2900 1024QAM support

I have had the scheme set for the highest the router is able to (eg. 1024 QAM) for a year now with multiple intel, broadcom, realtek and a few qualcomm chipset clients with no issues. The broadcom ones is selecting 256QAM on some of the client that support it. So I have not experienced the...

    AC86U / GT-AC2900 1024QAM support

Hi Guys I have a GT-AC2900 router and an intel 8265 wifi card. I was thinking about upgrading the wifi card to the intel ax200 or ax210 as there are very cheap. Since the router support 1024 QAM on both wifi4 and wifi5 (which is not part of wifi4 and 5 standard) can anyone tell me if these two...

    RT-AC66U B1 vs AC68U cooling

Thank you for reaffirming my hypothesis :-) I would have liked to make a more scientific measurement wih the two devices. But sadle the water killed them. Annoying global warming and rising sea levels ;-) This would seem to suggest that an AC66U B1 mounted veristically in a homemade stand...

    RT-AC66U B1 vs AC68U cooling

Unfortunately the water then "drowned" them in the basement was very mineral rich. And the routers dont even booth up even after drying and cleaning with isopropanol to remove moisture. Just wandered about the heatzink difference on seemingly identical hardware
