Maybe you should go back to the most current "Asus" firmware release for this model and do a full reset and manually reconfigure. It would be best to see how things function without using modified firmware. Run stock before you decide to hotrod with merlin firmware. Are you using any of the...

I think your on to something! I started having apple connection issues starting with IOS 9.3.1 on my Netgear r8500. Disabled beamforming and all is good. Seems to be an apple issues since it effects different brands and different models.
