Thank you BreakingDad. Unfortunately I have been getting these errors for the last few updates. Shame .... this and the 160 bug are quite annoying.

AX86u Can anyone tell me what these errors are ? My logs are full of this .... Fresh install, full wipe and reset and keep getting these. Will put just a couple of lines below, many many more in the log. Dec 13 07:05:07 kernel: ^[[0;33;41mFCACHEfc_vblog_list_add ERROR: Duplicate blog: list...

    160 MHz stability

I made a post about that but apparently it was deleted. Some thin thin skins in here. Egos on max. The usual suspects got a little butthurt ..... I also do not get people like you either .... too much feminine energy for me deal with I guess. This is support 'forum' look up the meaning of that...

    160 MHz stability

It is dismaying to see the amount of 160 hate in this thread. It is not for you or any other user to decide whether those of us who have and use 160 mhz 'need' it or what we 'must' do to have it. We paid for it, it used to function in the last release. It does not function now - that is a...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

Happy to see the 160 MHz issue being looked at. AX86U here and no matter how many times I clean install still not holding 160 for me .... drops to 80 in a matter of hours. Previous release rock solid at 160 for months on end. Hope it gets sorted.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

AX86U keeps dropping out of 160 mhz down to 80 .... returned to 386.5-2 and all stable again with no duplicate vblog entries ..... going to stay here on 386.5-2 until some of this gets sorted.

    Pi hole DNS Filtering ?

Hello fellas, I have been playing around with Pi-ihole and an old AC5300. According to the documentation at https://docs.pi-hole.net/routers/asus/ I have set the ip of the Pi-hole in the Lan-DHCP configuration area. My question is will this keep clients on the lan from bypassing this field...

    TP Link EAP 660HD + AC5300 Location/Beam Pattern

Understood. I will see if I can find a way to ceiling mount it with some kind of removable adhesive. Thank you for taking the time t answer.

    TP Link EAP 660HD + AC5300 Location/Beam Pattern

Thanks, the reason I wanted to put it facing up is that way the flat side can sit on the top of the router. Would seem more stable. I plan to remove the antennas off the 5300. I cannot ceiling mount it as I am in housing provided by my company for the next 1.5 years. Not my home and was told no...

    TP Link EAP 660HD + AC5300 Location/Beam Pattern

Hello all, As the title suggests I want to add a TP Link EAP 660HD to my AC5300. One of the radio is turned off because it was failing. The remaining radio seems ok but occasionally hiccups under load. I would like to turn off the remaining radio and use the tp link access point for wireless...

    Untangle - Hardware Specs

Thank you that looks very interesting. I thought you need more than 2ghz to do 1gbs maxed out. Would be great if it could do the job. @Jose C Thank you Jose, I am a little hesitant regarding Ali express but I will definitely see what they have. Thank you. @Tech9 Indeed. Truth but some...

    Untangle - Hardware Specs

Thanks tarassippo, I did look at protecli. I have to say I find the prices a little ridiculous. It looks like I will probably end up going with a quad core Intel mini pc of some flavor. It appears to be the best bang for the buck so to speak. Not silent or as efficient but I cannot justify...
