    Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

    I dirty updated my AC88 from 386.5_2 to 386.7_2. After the update, I found a recurring message in issue log. Rebooted AC88 and it is working.

    386.4 on AC88U breaks Chromecast device detection

    I am also on same router and AiMesh with no issue after dirty upgrade to 386.4. Just curious, are those chromecast devices using date/time like your router? I had issue with my Google devices few weeks ago but solved by making sure their date/time are in sync with the network.

    Diversion Diversion - Pixelserv: Not all devices blocked?

    At home, I will leave DNS filter as ON to make sure all my home devices are served through router DNS address - WAN page. Some devices came with private or built in DNS which are dubious. I am also a Chromecast user for a few years with router pointing to Quad9 DNS without any issue.

    This time I changed my dns to Quad9 and the result is different - no SERVFAIL :rolleyes: In both tests, DNSSEC support and DOT are enabled.

    With Windows Firefox, test result for ED448 shows yellow lock. However, Chrome still display red cross. Changing DNS on router does not change the result. Any ideas ?

    Not sure abt that. I saw some discussions on that too. Will retest when I get back. By the way, router resolving names from cloudflare dns.

    Thank you Merlin for the experiment built :) Though the firmware was alpha, I did not see any issue. Dirty flashed from 384.12 to 384.13 alpha2. Scripts on router were not affected though they were backup. Before->Now Router -> AiMesh Router AP -> AiMesh Node with backhaul Repeater -> AiMesh...

    Tried to uninstall uiScribe but the behavior was the same. Few days later it magically recovered on its own. I can browse system log with zero problem. Thanks both for your hints and suggestions.

    I guess there has to do with the recent Chrome browser update . I am unable to load System Log with both desktop -Version 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) and mobile chrome - Version 75.0.3770.101. However, System Log page is loaded with FireFox. I have already tried to force page reload...

    Great work Jack ! No issue with firmware: beta 384.12 beta1. I don't have to SSH router to check separate logs from now :D
