Ended up getting a pfsense box to bond two 1gbps fiber connections.. Running 2 XT12 and 2 xt8 as mesh wireless AP now. Loving the speed!

So u would say this is the best Asus currently has? My cisco rv340 uses a dual core 900mhz processor with 1gb ram and throughout is capped at 933mbps..would u say the XT12 can outperform this for load balancing if I have a 1gbps and 500mbps connection?

so you think the Cisco router is worth keeping? for extra context. sometimes this Cisco router peaks at 100% CPU usage as well. could be bugs etc. because when i restart it it becomes fine.

Maybe I can rephrase. I'm not looking for more than 1gbps on one speedtest. But on two separate devices running speedtest I hope to be able to achieve close to 1.5gbps. Cause my cisco is capped at 933mbps

Yea I actually dropped the number of total connections per torrent client from 2000 to 500. Seems to help a lot now. No more 100% cpu usage on the router. Any idea on a recommended number of connections setting?
