I have a 10GTek ethernet adaptor on my HP 10gb 530fsp+ (Broadcom bcm57810s) card working no issues.

I recently installed 4 deco x60 units using wired backhaul in our 55,000sqft manufacturing building and I can walk around the whole place while on a wifi call using my iphone 12 pro max and never drop a call, it works really well.

I run some Engenuis APs, they've been solid for me.

I'm using 2 engenius ens500-ac to do a 170ft bridge to my neighbors, running a dfs 80mhz channel I get 60-70 MB solid across it.

Using a 2x2 AC client I can get 600mbps of real throughput when Im near my AC access point and using 80mhz channels.

A guy I work with switched to spectrum from DTV, he has 100mbps and mainly uses rokus with the spectrum app in lieu of cable boxes. Loves it.

Band steering is disabled by default, Did you enable advanced options under site? that allows the option to be enabled under configuration once done.

I get about 900mbps of actual smb file transfer speed across realtek adaptors.

Any CAT cables running near/next to 110/220v lines can pick up enough noise that will cause the switch to fall back to 10/100.

For what its worth, Im trying out opnsense on what was my pfsense box, performance so far has been fantastic although I don't find the GUI as easy to use. Had to install it via DVD as the memstick images are efi only. Tried to dvd iso to memstick but rufus and and win7DLtool complained.
