3.0.0.4.188 for Asus RT-AC66u is Out

Asus has posted 3.0.0.4.188 firmware for the Asus Rt-AC66u. Anyone installed it yet and can tell me what the optimal settings are to get the most power out of the TX controls? It looks like Asus implemented them slightly differently. Any first impressions of the new firmware?

Well, this firmware version doesn't cause tons of wireless download problems when QoS is enabled, at least. So, I'll be sticking with this firmware for now.

I'm not using a UPnP server with Broadcast support enabled in VPN, so I can't comment on that issue.

Under TX Power, it now states:
"FCC channel 34~48 max: 50mW for North America.
FCC channel 149~165 max: 1000mW for North America.
ETSI max: 200mW for Europe, South America and APAC.
The real Tx power is automatically adjusted due to regional regulatory. "

5GHz Transmit Radio Power adjustments do appear to work as expected with this firmware.

Have you tried Asuswrt-merlin? I have implemented a few stability-related fixes, try the latest beta build (178.16), it includes an additional stability fix that wasn't in 178.15.

Will the driver be updated in next ASUSWRT-MERLIN fw? I noticed that the driver in official FW 188 for AC66U have been updated.

Yes, I always use whatever driver Asus uses with the firmware version I base my code on.
