New Around Here
I'm on Merlin 378.54_2 on a RT-AC68R and until yesterday i was running 3 WD hard drives in a USB 3.0 HUB (7 ports) with no issues at all. Today sudenly stop working.

This is the log when I plug the HUB

Jun 25 23:44:23 kernel: usb 2-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 14
Jun 25 23:44:23 kernel: hub 2-1:1.0: USB hub found

Jun 25 23:44:23 kernel: hub 2-1.3:1.0: USB hub found
Jun 25 23:44:23 kernel: hub 2-1.3:1.0: 4 ports detected

I notice that the address number is becoming a higher number everytime I reconnect.

Eventually when I connect one of those this is the log entry that I get:

Jun 25 23:50:53 kernel: usb 2-1.3.3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 17
Jun 25 23:50:53 kernel: scsi1 : usb-storage 2-1.3.3:1.0

Jun 25 23:51:52 kernel: scsi 1:0:0:0: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery

Any ideas? Clues? Thxs!

USB 3.0 hubs were never officially supported. Only USB 2.0 hubs are.

Buy why worked the first time I plug it (It worked for more than two days)? If not supported should not work at all not randomly.... This again Merlin.

Not supported does not mean does not work at all. It means it might work, but it won't be reliable, as it was never tested, and never specifically developed for. Some people had to try 4-5 different models to find one that worked for them. A lot will also work but only in USB 2.0 mode.
