86U- Can I Decrease The WiFi Power?

GHammer

I'd like to take my wireless signal down and see what is actually needed for the coverage area I want.
I know you can't increase the power, but is it possible to limit the power?

Unless you see power slider in professional tab of your router for wireless category, answer would be no.

This repeated question has me wondering... Doesn't everyone else have the power slider under the professional tab? Its there for me on my 3100. Is that feature model specific?

Is that feature model specific?

It's both model and region-specific, so its availability varies a lot. And I don't know the exact scenarios where the option will be available.

I'm in the US and there is no slider.
No big deal, I just wanted to turn the power down to what I actually need. You know, be a nice neighbor. Might make up for my very poor gardening skills...
