A common fix for many wireless connect- disconnect and speed issues

Various wireless connect- disconnect and speed issues got solved by one or the other of the below settings which are Enable by default:
  • Advanced Settings - Wireless - Professional - 2.4 GHz
    • Modulation Scheme: Up to MCS 7 (802.11n)
    • Airtime Fairness: Disable
    • Explicit Beamforming: Disable
    • Universal Beamforming: Disable
  • Advanced Settings - Wireless - Professional - 5 GHz
    • Airtime Fairness: Disable
    • Universal Beamforming: Disable
The list grew over time to fix various issues on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, the last was to Disable "2.4 GHz Explicit Beamforming" which fixed frequent disconnects of an IOT device while other 2.4 GHz devices had no issues at all.
I suppose those special features are not at all or not properly implemented at either side of the wireless connection, causing different issues.
My general strong advise is: make those setting changes in case of wireless issues.
