Finally hooked up a 500gb HD to the USB port on my AC66u and enabled the samba share. I can see the share from es file explorer on my android phone, but it does not show up under "Network" in windows explorers on my win7 laptop and I cannot map the drive using \\192.168.1.1\Drive_Name.
However, if I enable "Allow Guest Login" in the router firmware under Network Place (samba) Share/Cloud Drive, the drive still does not show up under network in windows explorer but I can map the drive under "computer".
Any thoughts on why this is? Could it have anything to do with this being a work computer and being tied to my work domain? I have not tested it with guest login disabled, but with it enabled it also showed up no problem in the finder of my macbook pro.
