AC68U - Updating from 380 to 384 - How?

Hi,

I have tried a couple of times now to upgrade as normal, but I am guessing something different needs to happen as the upload to the router doesn't seem to finish (or start?).

I know I am supposed to reset to defaults after install, and clear browser cache before logging back in, but are there other specific instructions I should be following to update?

Hi skeal,

Quick question.

The example at the link shows an 88U being upgraded, then it asks for a reboot at the end of the upgrade. I’ve never been prompted to reboot here when upgrading. It finishes the process and always ends up on the login screen.

Is that hardware specific?

Only sometimes do you have to reboot. The webui should prompt you to reboot manually if it's required.
