Adaptive QoS and HW acceleration

Tested - same results - very broken.
Thanks very much.
Now Adaptive QoS page of the BE routers no longer has a place to fill in the upload and download bandwidth. Considering that Adaptive QoS and BWDPI are closed-source software from Trend Micro, is it possible that Adaptive QoS now works differently than it did on previous AX routers?
Maybe we don't have a proper way to verify whether Adaptive QoS of BE routers is working. Maybe these are just my imagination.

That's quite possible, as the file /proc/bw_cte_dump doesn't seem to exist any more in the latest release. Definitely some work going on but where is it heading?

Routers are sold as having QOS. How is Asus getting away with this?? It's over a year and they do know about it because of feedback. I don't care it's Trends fault. That is an internal matter between Asus and Trend.

Instead of churning out new routers that are quite similar, they need to get their act together and start fixing this and other stuff reported. It's not on with expensive routers like BE98. Cheaper models also have got more updates.

I feel your frustration & you're 100% on point, but it seems Asus is more focused on releasing Adaptive QoS 2.0 than fixing the current QoS issues.

Given that they never fixed the AX-86U, i wouldn't have hopes here.

I haven't even bothered to check if the AX6000 is any better - i don't trust ASUS here, at this point.

As of June 2025, AdaptiveQoS is nothing more than a feel good button on all WiFi 7 models.

Which means whatever game acceleration QoS on their ROG WiFi 7 models is false advertising.

Adaptive QoS is still non-functionnal for WIfi 7 devices, and I don't expect it to get fixed anytime soon.
Not sure how they get away with broken QOS, as its illegal in UK to sell something stating it has it if it doesn't work (as in stock firmware that is). Asus mention QOS in specs of item.
How is Asus getting away with it as this has gone on for some time now?

Been so long since I was on stock firmware, I am assuming that Adaptive QOS is in stock firmware and not just Merlin's - I've always just run Merlin firmware for years and now GNUTON on BE98 and it's 100% broken on that too, but that is not stock firmware.
