Thanks very much.Tested - same results - very broken.
I feel your frustration & you're 100% on point, but it seems Asus is more focused on releasing Adaptive QoS 2.0 than fixing the current QoS issues.Routers are sold as having QOS. How is Asus getting away with this?? It's over a year and they do know about it because of feedback. I don't care it's Trends fault. That is an internal matter between Asus and Trend.
Instead of churning out new routers that are quite similar, they need to get their act together and start fixing this and other stuff reported. It's not on with expensive routers like BE98. Cheaper models also have got more updates.
CES Las Vegas-January 2023As of June 2025, AdaptiveQoS is nothing more than a feel good button on all WiFi 7 models.
Which means whatever game acceleration QoS on their ROG WiFi 7 models is false advertising.
Not sure how they get away with broken QOS, as its illegal in UK to sell something stating it has it if it doesn't work (as in stock firmware that is). Asus mention QOS in specs of item.Adaptive QoS is still non-functionnal for WIfi 7 devices, and I don't expect it to get fixed anytime soon.
