Some settings you have changed from default may be causing issues. Remove the USB device, factory reset and manually configure. Use the dual band SmartConnect and leave the WIFI settings at default. Do not add the USB device! Your router knows more about WIFI than you know. Disable uPnP in the WAN settings. OK to use a custom DNS resolver.

The router logs speak for themselves. My computer/system/browser has no influence on this. It's just the server and client talking to each other.

There are no antivirus programs, etc. All my computers are running Windows 10/11.

Ok, then what do you want to happen? No one here can confirm this problem, and Asus has told you they won’t fix it. You’re stubborn in your assertion it cannot be anything in your environment, so not much else to do here.

Asus told me to send logs when this happens, through the system. This can't be done because no button works then – it goes to the login window. So I sent a screenshot of the logs – like the one above. So far, no response.

But what I pasted above is generally clear. The server says "redirect" because you're not logged in. The client doesn't redirect, and only logs part of the message.

By the way, is there any way to debug this? Can I run the server somewhere (simulate a router), send this message to the client, and see how it handles it?

Login over ssh and run this command:

touch /tmp/HTTPD_DEBUG
service restart_httpd

You might find a new log in "/jffs/HTTPD_DEBUG.log" or "/tmp/HTTPD_DEBUG.log".

I would unplug the router from the internet and disable WiFi and only connect from one computer where it would be impossible for another device to interfere with the GUI.

If you’re only using http, switch to https. Change the admin password. Enable Admin access restrictions in the GUI. Change the router IP. Switch to Merlin.

Lots of possibilities to isolate the cause.
