AI Mesh preffered settings - switching between nodes?

Hi,
I looked and did not find a preferred settings thread for AI Mesh setup.
If anyone can point me to any settings that need to be changed from default let me know.

My node is Ethernet connected and I changed that setting.

Does AI Mesh clients change to the node with the strongest connection? If so how so I confirm that? in the router dashboard? mobile app?
