I am looking to upgrade to N but I need a reliable SOLID connection for transfer of large files (10 gig or 20 gig), for copying hi def movies from camcorder/pc to server.

My main concern is that MOST if not all (hopefully not) routers seem to have dropouts.

Your reviews are excellent but it would be a great addition if you could add a test that copies a several 5 gig files and logs any dropouts.

Thanks

I don't mean to be glib. But if you want a "solid" connection, use Ethernet. Especially for large file transfers.

The test you suggest might work in my quiet wireless environment. But there is no guarantee that it would work in yours.
