ASUS DSL-AC68U Problem

New Around Here
Hi,

I hope this is the correct thread.

I have moved into my new home and decided to have ZEN installed. I was previously with SLY but got over that. Anyways, i have FTTC with the 'free' Technicolor VDSL modem. Plugged it in - No hassles, excellent. 30MB download 9MB upload. Quite happy with that.

I have a Buffalo NAS and require a modem with Gigabit ports. The Techniclolr doesn't have that. I called ZEN to ask for advice on a VDSL modem / router compatible with the service. I suggested 1 or 2 the ASUS being one of them and was told that the ASUS would work out of the box. Now to my issue.

When i use the Technicolor i get 30MB down 9MB up. I plug in the ASUS i get 30MB down 0.9MB up????? WTF!! That is totally unusable as i login remotely to my NAS and it takes an age to receive anything. The ASUS has 1200AC wirelss the Technicolor doesn't. So i have features that i simply can't use with the ASUS at 0.9MB upload.

Now i'm not a betting man, but i'm pretty 99% convinced that it's the ASUS not ZEN.

Does anybody have any idea whats causing that? Better still, does anybody else have an ASUS DSL-AC68U working without any issues at all? Can anyone point me in the direction of settings to work with the ZEN service?

I hope somebody can help a (kinda) novice.

TIA.
