ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI VS Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 PRO BE30000/BE25000/-BE19000

There's one thing that irks me a lot regarding the GT-BE98 Pro. The two 6 GHz channels are forced to keep the same PSC setting. If you check one, the other is checked, if you uncheck one the other is unchecked. I would assume not all 6 GHz devices require it, and I would love to switch it on for 6 GHz-1 but off for 6 GHz-2. I brought this up to the person who sent it to me, maybe towards the end of 2023 or early 2024. I was told they have to follow each other....

EDIT- Interesting tidbit. I added the BE19000Ai as AiMesh node before AFC was disabled, to the BE98 Pro. I assume since I have an unmanaged switch, it was found and added via 5 GHz WiFi backhaul. This is a far connection I would say. I fully expected it to add via Ethernet. Once it was added (and AFC still active,) I was curious what Optimize would do. -It doesn't do anything if everything is Ethernet backhauled.- When I tried it backhaul switched to the 6 GHz channel, 6 GHz-1 on the BE98 Pro. It was still on 6 GHz backhaul when Standard Power deactivated...

You have two expensive routers that I can't imagine any reason to have the 19000AI in mesh node, ever. I know it is my poverty speaking, but dang mister, that's $1500+ in two AIO routers.

I may be returning the Ai router. I'm supposed to write a detailed review for them sending it to me. I'm stuck on part 2....

I can't say I paid much more for the other one...

EDIT: Testing different modes, because someone considering the BE19000Ai may already have a BE98 Pro, logically this means they have deep pockets for networking... If you add one then it might be good for me to figure out what's the best way to connect them together and in which order, (main router -> node). I've seen at least one member here connect a BE98 Pro as an AiMesh node, and 6 GHz-2 goes bye bye. I've experienced first hand how the AXE16000 5 GHz-2 goes bye bye... For some wired backhaul may not be an option, so AP mode on the BE98 Pro is not an option. There's no repeater mode on the Ai router, just thee options router, AP mode, and AiMesh node....

Excellent router, the best one on the market. Otherwise whoever they are may not send you another...

The BE98 Pro was sent without strings attached. I'm not moving up in the ROG forum from rank 17, (it seems to be getting exponentially harder), so I guess I got conditions for this one. Next one may not be without me buying it, no question....

Let's not read and answer the way AI does. @Redskins16 is in Europe, GT-BE98 Pro is not a the right model for this region and it won't have more throughput even theoretically.

Otherwise I vote for GT-BE19000AI, even two in AiMesh. I have no issues when someone else wants to waste money. I'm pretty sure @Redskins16 needs something like this right now and can't wait.
That's why i have placed BE25000/-BE19000 this are European versions

Thanks for reminding me.

Sorry my memory has been damaged by sleep deprivation from the two parents I watch pretty much 24/7. Short term memory goes first, so Redskins reminds me of a football team mascot....

The OP asked the difference from experience. Did the OP ask for an opinion on purchasing? This is borderline trolling....

If you ask me how much I paid for the BE98 Pro, I'd have to say the same.

WiFi 8 has not mentioned anything about AFC. Can we safely assume it will be included?....
What do you mean with borderline trolling?

Well for example you asked a question about the differences among model routers, what someone who has experience with them would say. I tried to answer what I felt were the differences.

I was told my answer sounds like an Ai's answer, and accused of trying to encourage you to import a product not legal for use in your locale...

I wish I could compare with the BE25000 aka BE98, or the GT-BE19000, but they are not available here. Our closest and possibly same hardware model is RT-BE96U. Kind of matches GT-BE19000 but we know GT is better than RT, (supposedly)...
