Hi guys,
I just recently purchased this Asus router from my BB and so far I couldn't have been happier. I'm no techie nor do I plan on utilizing most of the bells and whistles that came with this router (I wouldn't know how really) Only 1 small problem however... I can't seem to access the Kaspersky website. I've tried it on another laptop and phones that are connected in the same network to this router and I keep getting the message err_connection_refused.
I'm pretty sure I narrowed it down to the router because if I setup my phone as a hotspot and connect my laptop, I can visit Kasperskys website without a problem. I tried it at work by connecting to the wifi there and it works fine too. Now I know that if I have any malware or viruses, it could be one of the reasons. However, I can access all other antivirus websites just fine and I even did a clean install on one of my laptops.
So what if I just download kaspersky through another network? I tried that, I got it to install but as soon as I'm connected to my Asus router to download any updates, it won't connect to the Kaspersky servers. Seems like there is some setting that's preventing Kaspersky to properly get through the router
Anyone have any ideas?
