Hi,
Any one have any info on the Asus RT-AC5300 antennas, I wanted to upgrade the antennas for the 2.4ghz bands, but there are about 10 of them, any one know which witch is which?

I needed to trouble shoot some range issues.... and do have 2x high power omni directional ones.

I've scoured the intertubez for this answer myself, and the closest I can find is this: https://read01.com/BJ58JK.html

At the bottom summary:

5.) Stable WIFI signal: 8 antenna design, 4 in the upper part is responsible for 5G signal, and 4 in the lower part are responsible for 2.4G/5G dual frequency. The power amplification of the WIFI signal is isolated by a metal cover. Each of the 5G sections has a CIROLMCT bandpass filter, and the metal cover is separated from the signal amplification area. The 2.4G part of the SPDT switch uses the SKY15605 chip with low noise amplification. All of these designs exist in order to improve the quality of the signal and further improve the coverage of the signal.
"Upper" / "Lower" refers to the photos in the article. "Upper" is the side with the Gigabit switch (back). "Lower" is the front of the device. Therefore the 2.4GHz antennas are the front-most 4 antennas.
