So I purchased this router around January of 2015. We had a lot of internet issues before buying this router and few with this one at first but it worked good for quite a while however about a month to a month and a half ago my wife's kindle fire couldn't connect to the network. I wasn't home so she did like we did all the time with the old router and unplugged them both and then re plugged them back in. (Whether the problem started because she unplugged them or not I'm unsure) Since then our internet has been horrific. Almost every thirty minutes something can't connect and we have to restart the router. Sometimes it's longer and sometimes it's shorter. It confuses me because it's like some things can and some can't. A lot of times my iPhone and my daughters I pod can't but my PlayStation 4 almost always can. My pc and everything else can connect about half the time.
The routers firmware is up to date and so are the drivers on the pc it is plugged into.
I'll try anything at this point, all I want is internet that works.
And on a side note, I don't know if this means anything but the pc that we plug into the router can only connect about half the time too. Which makes no sense to me. It's plugged in directly to the back of the router yet it connects to the Internet through wifi? I don't know why the wired connection doesn't work (do I have to set something up in the settings) I've even tried different cables from the router to the pic but nothing.
