ASUS RT-AC68U + NETGEAR AC750 Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender (EX6100)

Hi Asus experts!

I have an ASUS RT-AC68U but unfortunately the signal in my main bedroom on the other side of the house keeps dropping. I just purchased a Netgear AC750 to serve as an access point since I have Cat6 wall-jacks in each of my room. I also have a TPLink TL-SG1024 24 Port switch in my network closet. I plan to hard wire the Netgear AC750 to the wall-jack in my bedroom for it to broadcast 5ghz wifi for my portable devices when I'm in the room. Kindly refer to the diagram enclosed.

I need help configuring my ASUS RT-AC68U and the Netgear AC750 for them to adequately "talk" to each other. Thank you for your input/advice! Much appreciated!

Hello Jon C.
i have the same router and was planning on getting the same netgear ac750. Are you happy with the results ?
@alberto7valdez - it works very well. My network closet is quite far away from the AC750 but it works very well in AP mode when plugged directly into the cat6 wall jack in the room. I have also tried the WAP mode and it works well but not as well as it does in AP mode. Hope this helps!
