ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware: 388.1 VPN; WireGuard protocoll priority

Hi,

i am using an ASUS RT-AX88U VPN Router and the WireGuard VPN protocoll.

I have a question regarding the priority of the VPN settings regarding a boot/ restart of the Router and a possible Kill-Switch like the OpenVPN settings provides.

I am currently using a only a WireGuard VPN configuration whiteout an SaveGard OpenVPN setting with a start at Boot and Kill-Switch feature and i am planig/ wishing to setup and activate a "auto restart schedule" of the router but i do fear the possibility of a failing VPN connection at start up especially with an only a WireGuard VPN setting. because there is no option to enable a "Kill-Switch" or a "start at boot" option to check. And i do not know how the router will priorities the internet connection. I want that the router only connects to the internet if the VPN connection is already working, to prevent IP/ DNS etc. leaks.

I am asking for advise and lecture.

Please.

Regards
:D
