Outdated. I'd say so (I also have one). But Asus are still selling it and providing updates. But my guess is that it can't be long before it's EOL.

Depends on your definition of "outdated". Lots of home users still use the much cheaper RT-N12 because it suits their needs. For browsing Facebook, you wouldn't really see any difference with an RT-N66U.

from a date of release perspective, it's definitely "old" but people like @RMerlin and @thelonelycoder are writing code to optimize the UX. All of their hard work at tweaking code might make you think hard, twice, about upgrading.
