Asus Rt68P causing 1 bar loss through wired connection

digiv

New Around Here
Ok, so i bought this router mainly because of this forum and all the praise behind it. Though the wireless speeds and reliability has been great, the wired portion has not.

Running a cat6 cable from the router to my xbox one causes a 1 bar connections loss in all games i play online. I don't understand why. When i run it through the modem itself i gain this bar back across the board in all games. The connection doesn't suffer too much but i don't get why that bar is lost just from running it through a router that i thought was more than capable to handle a tiny home network.

my speeds are 150mbps down/20up.

EDIT: now after a factory reset, and a reflash of the most updated firmware my QoS no longer works. This is turning into a nightmare
