FYI: I found the version today via search for my V1.

BTW: Asus could have written a little more in the release notes than just "Improved compatibility with certain IoT devices." That could mean anything. 🤣

Since I use a lot of IoT devices here, I'll wait a bit before updating. At the moment, I don't see any need for it, as everything works perfectly and without any problems.

Mine has updated tonight. Everything ok. 24 devices at home, about 10 Iot, all ok too.

24710 is not as stable as 24709 for my XT8 v1.
My XT8 was working very stable with 24709, but after upgrading to 24710 it becomes unstable. Have rolled back and wait for the next upgrade.

I haven't updated to version 24710 yet either; I'm still on version 24709. 🙂 I'm a little surprised, though, that after more than two months, there are still no further user reviews of version 24710. Other than davidchiou's information about the problems he's having with version 24710. Either there are fewer and fewer users using an XT8 mesh system, 😆 or other users aren't having any problems at all with the 24710?

Me. XT8 V1 as a standalone router (no mesh). No problems at all.

I have been using the XT8 V1 as a standalone router, plus 2 more XT8 V1 units in a mesh system now for about 6 weeks and it has been stable for me. Of note I only use the default settings, and none of the extra features such as Airprotection, Parental controls etc, other than I have manually selected Chanel 100 for the backhaul. On the auto select (I believe it was using Chanel 149) and it would frequently drop the 5Ghz connection to an 80 MHz bandwidth instead of 160 MHz (although I didn't really see any drop in performance.
