I'll be closing this thread now, since this beta has since been superseded by 359.29 Beta 1.

That error message usually appears if you try to access an IP to which you don't have access. In your case, either you didn't enable HTTPS, or you forgot to specify the port (the HTTPS webui by default uses port 8443, not the standard 443). So you must use https://192.168.1.1:8443
