Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.6 Beta is now available

Similar experience here. Going on 4 days without a reboot or any notable syslog items of concern. Clients are balanced nicely across 3 nodes and I have zero unexpected client disconnects (including several pesky IoT devices that historically would have). Yesterday we had a get-together and in total there were ~90 devices online without a single hiccup.

Do you allow the GUI to save cookies in your browser? It should only remind you once and set a cookie, usually. Or browse directly with https…
OK, but I had this notification the first time after flashing this beta, during years using Merlin´s FW´s.
I found under Admin/Sistem the https link to acces the router, it was easy.
thanks Dave

I just noticed a binding issue with beta 1. The router ignores binding a device to the node. I don't know if it's related to this firmware or something else, but it's definitely new to my network.

Best release in months for me. Finally stability since 102.4 or earlier. Haven't rebooted since installation. Replaced cable modem, patch cables, office 50' cable, switch to no avail over this time period. NOTHING. The 102.6_beta1 release seems to stop the >=1x daily router reboot. Synology counter issues, whether the stability source problem or not, also seem to be gone.

Thanks, Merlin! :)
Did have a router issue just now. No access to router or internet, but intranet was fine. Reboot and all is well again. Fri -> Tue. Noting to provide feedback and see the length of time of if/when it crashes next. Thanks!

Since I also updated OpenVPN, I'd like some quick test feedback that everything is still fine with OpenVPN - I didn't have time to test it myself following the merge.

I am not having issues with either OpenVPN server or clients -- everything is fine here.

Noticeable speed increase to Nord VPN. 👍🏼

GT-AX6000 rock steady - all my addon's happy -many thanks.

Updated to Beta 2, system reboot after 15 minutes. Binding issue persists.

Updated from beta1 to beta2, no noticeable issues. OpenVPN cliënts and server are working properly. Also the DNS director doesn't seem to interfere anymore with DNS setting being pushed to clients with dhcp-option DNS. Both IP's are being used which are pushed and not just the one that is configured in the DNS director. For Wireguard that is still the issue when configuring DNS IP's in the client configuration.

Updated from 3006.102.5 to 3006.102.6_beta2. Only oddity so far was one my my XT8's was slow
to stabilize. It is the only one of the three using a wireless backhaul.

Had Beta 1 loaded and all seemed good. Asus GT AXE-16000
Loaded Beta 2 earlier and again seemed good but noticed my ecobee thermostat could only see the 2.4g network.
ecobee could not see 5-1g or 5-2g networks.

Rebooted both router and ecobee -no difference

Should mention both beta's resolved the client count constantly updating to 3 or4 5 times as many clients over the original version 8/2025

Straight from 102.5 to 102.6_b2. Was having odd issues with AI Mesh roaming, station bindings, names & device counts not being accurate / changing not taking / GNP-Network/AI Mesh / Network Map, hopefully the new GPLs fix some of the non-merlin controlled issues. Like the new traffic graphs. Years of Traffic Stats came over without issue.

No wireless changes in either of the beta. Give it time, could be just DFS scanning that means your 5 GHz network can take a few minutes to become available.
