Hi all

I am not sure how to make a feature request but it would be amazing to automatically pull in icons for the connected Wifi products - i.e. and iPhone 15 automatically gets an iPhone 15 image or a Roborock Vaccum automatically gets that image. This is something which Ubiquiti does standard in its software and I have always found it makes identifying devices easier.

Is this something that can be done?

Mmm... not really. UniFi recognizes 100% only Ubiquiti ecosystem devices. They report what they are. It recognizes most of Apple devices, but here and there with different than actual model. It also recognizes Windows computers, pulls the manufacturer info, but can't tell which one is a laptop and which one desktop. There is no such information available by MAC address alone. And there is no way to recognize some noname IoT devices. They will be most likely displayed as some generic device using some known controller. I personally have changed pictures and renamed about 1/2 of the clients on my network.
