Well, some actually says that it's even have 2x4 on 5hz. I read some earlier posts and it was mentioned, that this 2x4 limitation is done on the software level. Does this mean that we can wait for merlin version where the this limitation could removed? Thank you.

No, Merlin cannot change the WiFi component as it's closed source.
