AX86U changing channel no wifi?

If I change my channel on the 5Ghz band (to 116) I get no wifi on 5Ghz but 2.4Ghz works.
When I set it back to auto it works again.
Latest Asus firmware

How long did you wait for the channel to appear? If you're in the EU it will take 10 minutes, most other places only 1 minute.

Thanks, I'm in EU it took about 10 minutes. I've done it a few weeks back when the change happened instantly.

Not all of the channels have the 10 minute wait time, only those effected by weather radar. It's likely you were using a different channel before, or the router had already monitored the radar channels prior to your change.
