AXE16000 doesn't connect PPPOE after restart

Hi, after doing a restart/shutdown to router or restart/shutdown to the Modem connected to the router GOFIBER 10Gb, the router won't connect automatically until I click on the WAN Menu APPLY again and it would instantly connect. (the light would show 10GB connection blue light) the WAN would show WHITE LIGHT but it won't show CONNECTED with IP. if I keep click on NETWORK MAP in router it would sometimes show that it recieve IP and CONNECTED like split of a second but after it would show disconnect every time I click on it. I can't understand what is going on. how do I fix this so it will connect normally? if I am not home I won't be able to get internet if I need to restart the modem or change heavy "restart" settings like disabling WIFI or anything that makes it restart almost fully. also my second computer connected with 2.5GB USB network card when I change 'heavy" settings or also the same as above it won't even detect the connection until I disable/enable the network device, it once worked good but I don't know what changing that causing that.


it seems using DNS instead ICMP fix that at least with RESTART router

Are you using dual-WAN setup? If not, make sure it's turned off. Even when turned off make sure the 10g port is selected in the drop down list and disable 4g / 5g auto mobile tethering. See if that helps speed up the connection after reboot.

no dual wan, 4g-5g are disabled.
doesn't seem to help, it just stuck until i click apply. sometimes it seems like when I disable the lan on the 2nd computer and re enable it would let it connect. I am using the 2.5Gb . why would 2nd computer using the 2.5 cause the wan to not connect until I disable/enable it?

ups 4g-5g wasn't disabled for some reason, I disabled it
what would be the best settings here? I deleted the resolve hostname cause there was no ping to it. should I revert back? detect interval 3 sec default or 5 ? internet connection diag 2 or 5?
after I changed and it rebooted it connected almost instantly after coming back.
