There is a product which used to be free - it’s paid now, called NetWorx. I have the old free version (your were welcome to stay on that version If you had downloaded it before they made the licensing change), and it monitors my router via upnp.

We put the kids on time limits using our circle home plus and we are using about 75% less bandwidth.

of course that has just led them to switch off WiFi and watch everything on their phones but whatevs.

problem solved.
